The Phantom premieres TONIGHT at 7PM (ET) on Syfy.
Here at this site, of course, you can read more about the show, see a gallery of images, and even read an advance review. If you'd like an ongoing series based on The Phantom, the best way to ensure that is to watch the show.
The Syfy Channel has begun running promotional advertisements for The Phantom on their network. The movie event itself will air in less than two weeks, on June 20.

DVD Art Shows New Phantom Imagery
The Phantom is either already available in Europe on DVD, or it soon will be.
We've gotten our hands on the DVD cover which shows a piece of promotional artwork we haven't seen before. Not to sound all "angry comic fan" though, but isn't the Phantom most recognizable with a mask? Then again, if the mask doesn't resemble the Phantom we all know, it might be difficult...
No word yet on when that'll hit the U.S., but it is to be assumed that it'll be after the June airing of the show.

The Phantom Premieres In Canada
The Canadian premiere of The Phantom has been thought to be on the Movie Network's MFun Channel on Tuesday, December 22... but here's news... apparently the mini-series has already aired in some parts of Canada, on the "Movie Central HD" channel. Part 1 aired on December 20, Part 2 aired on December 21.
If you were lucky enough to see it already, talk about it on our forum... and if you are in Canada, remember you can see it on the MFun channel of the Movie Network with Part 1 on Tuesday, December 22!
Unless an illegal torrent shows up online for viewing, those of us in the United States will sadly have to wait until sometime in 2010 to see the premiere of the mini-series. But for those of you in Canada... enjoy!!

Ryan Carnes On The Phantom
As the premiere of The Phantom comes closer in Canada (sadly, no word yet on when Syfy is airing it here), Phantomsite.net is happy to share with you a quote from Phantom portrayer Ryan Carnes about playing such an iconic role.
"What's really great about The Phantom is that he doesn't have bells and whistles," Ryan Carnes explains in the movie's press materials. "He can't shoot webs out of his arm. He doesn't crawl on buildings or hang upside down anywhere. He doesn't turn green and giant. He has a suit that gives him a little bit of extra added strength, speed, incredible insight and instinct but other than that he's just an ordinary guy. He's just got himself and his suit. And I appreciate that. Bare bones."
The Phantom mini-series premieres in Canada on The Movie Network December 22.
PhantomSite.net has obtained breakdowns detailing every character from the upcoming Phantom miniseries. The miniseries airs December 22, 2009 on the Movie Network in Canada and in 2010 on the Syfy Channel in the United States.
